Darcy was rescued from the pound in May 2021, went into foster and is now at Pat’s Rescue Retreat.
Darcy is 65cm shoulder to floor.
Darcy came to Pat in poor condition so she is working to build up his weight and provide him with the good nutrients he needs to grow his coat back. Darcy has great potential to be a stunning and handsome young man, with lovely markings.
His weight loss may be due to anxiety, so Pat feels he would be better with not such a large pack of dogs as he can be a little shy and anxious at first but then settles in. A household with one other confident dog to help show Darcy the ropes would be great.
Pat suggests that due to Darcy’s lack of confidence and his connection to humans that he would thrive in a home where you are around a lot as he loves company and needs security. Darcy loves a cuddle once he knows you are a friend and not going to hurt him.
In the right home with these right ingredients, Darcy will transform into the dog he should be. Could it be with you?
