Gaia was rescued as a very young puppy, emaciated, full of parasites and with a very uncertain future. At 6 weeks of age she had been left on a mountainside in winter (with below 0 temperatures) to start to learn from other dogs how to herd and care for a flock of sheep. This would have been hard for her if she'd been well cared for but in the state she was in her chances of survival were slim. Luckily for Gaia her fate changed and she was rescued.
Since then she has been in a foster home in Spain with other mastins of different ages. She gets on well with dogs of all ages, but being a puppy (her estimated date of birth is 15.11.21) she would love to live with a young playful dog. She's good-natured, very bright and willing to learn. Not tested with children or cats but we wouldn't anticipate particular problems. We think she will grow to approximately 50kg in size. She is a beautiful girl, a lovely pale golden colour and pretty markings.
If Gaia might be the one for you, please send an enquiry. She can travel to any part of the UK.
