Harry was abandoned in a village near Malaga, sent to the pound and then rescued by Pat after a stressful morning of bureaucracy. Pat’s tenacity paid off because Harry is such a wonderful young man!
Standing at 86cms, Harry is a big lad and full of character, loyal and funny. He will make you laugh with his attitude and comedy moments. Harry’s markings make him look older than he is, but his looks just add weight to when he is telling you off with a deep bark to ask you to hurry up with his dinner please!
Harry is positive for Leish 1/160 and is being managed by Glucantime and Alopurinol (August 2022)
Soft hearted Harry is the first at the bottom of the stairs to greet Pat in the morning, he will make a great companion to his humans and he also gets on great with other dogs too. He does a great lean in for a cuddle too.
Harry can mouth in excitement so this will require some attention, but his teeth are virtually non existent, perhaps due to him being forced to eat stones before rescue or perhaps chewing through a chain; we can only guess why. So it is even more amazing that despite his horrid start, Harry is such a loving and fun boy.
Harry is very food oriented so this can be used to your advantage for training you would like to continue with him.
