Zara is a mastin cross (69cm to shoulder, 35-40kg) and an absolute sweetheart - a little bit timid but loves attention and affection because she hasn't received much in her life so far, but because of this she doesn't trust people right away but as soon as she does she's magic. Currently in Murcia, Spain but can be homed elsewhere in Europe, including the UK.
Despite only being picked up from the campo by our rescuer and foster angel, Zara has fit in straight away. She's happy, playful, friendly with the dogs and cats and absolutely loves human attention. She is already walking well on the lead and is coming back to her name off lead, loves car trips and was okay around calm children. However, she is still extremely nervous around new people and traffic, so needs a very rural, quiet home where she can be introduced to everything slowly and gain confidence from another dog or two. Someone with experience of nervous large rescues in a rural setting is what we're looking for. A secure garden is a must. She is absolutely fabulous with the other dogs and cats and is now just yearning for a home of her own.
