Benji is a 9 month old Mastin cross (Podenco or Galgo). He is already a big boy (about 30 kg, 70 cm shoulder height) but a bit more slender than a full Mastin. Ideal for Mastin lovers who want a large dog but on the slightly smaller side than the regular Mastin. He is a happy boy and – although a little timid with people he doesn't know – he immediately gets along very well with other dogs (male and female), is okay with children and cats, showing no particular interest in them. This handsome chap is currently in the Costa Tropical, Spain but can travel to the UK. A rural home with a large secure garden is a must!
Benjamin and his siblings were rescued as young puppies from the streets of Spain, his mother was a Mastin and we believe father a Podenco. They were supposed to all be adopted to families in Barcelona when 4 months old, but sadly Benji’s adoption fell through, and has been waiting for another chance ever since. He has always been a bit shy, and needs some time to come to you for cuddles. He is used to and needs a lot of space, so we are looking for a rural home or semi-rural with large enclosed garden.
