Oh Danny boy! What a loveable character and a bit of a goofball! He arrived at the rescue in Summer 2024, he was found starving and skinny on the arroyo near the rescue.
Danny has hip dysplasia (probably why he was abandoned) which means he needs to keep his muscles strong but it doesn’t stop him leading a happy, active life. He is currently on joint & calcium supplements which he will need to continue to take and exercise is key to his future health.
He is such a fun, affectionate young dog who loves to get attention and tries to stop you from leaving as he craves human affection. He is a happy, balanced boy but does need some training, but with time to adjust he will make an excellent, loyal, loving family member or companion. He has shared with male and female dogs and generally gets along well with them, at times he can be a bit of a wind up to other dogs in that ´adolescent Mastin way´!
If you come and meet him you will fall in love with Danny!
