PHOEBE - looking for adoption
Phoebe is a 2 year old sweetheart. She's a true cuddle monster - extremely affectionate and loving. She's playful (Fetch is her favourite game), funny, and a delight to be around. She loves her long walks. She is a healthy girl who has been spayed and is up to date with vaccinations.
Here's the issue: Phoebe spent 1.5 years in kennels before being adopted last month. As you can imagine, this was a huge change for her. She went from having not very much to suddenly having a lovely home with lots of new toys and other great things. After a couple of weeks, once she began to settle, she started showing signs of resource guarding. Christmas didn’t help. She needs to be with someone who understands how to work with this - she just needs some training and we can help every step of the way. The most she has done is a growl. She does communicate which makes this easier to work with. We believe this is very fixable.
Phoebe needs a home without any other pets, although she's great with meeting other dogs when out and about - she's not reactive at all. She's also calm and comfortable when walking past livestock.
