Beautiful Titan is a kind senior dog, who was given away from his “family”, who did not want him anymore. He is 10 years old and his birthday is on Xmas day
When Titan arrived, he was named Rocky, but he was not reacting to it, so we renamed him Titan, as the big strong boy he is! Titan is a beautiful and calm dog, and he is looking for a home preferably locally in Spain or in a country where he could travel to by land travel, as he is quite big and heavy. We want to find him a loving home that he probably has never experienced in his lifetime. Titan might be big, but he is a very gentle soul, and even the small dogs in the shelter are bullying him, so he hides in his kennel and does not want to go to the outside space of his kennel, because all the small dogs are barking at him.
Titan likes to see the volunteers very much and spend time calmly with them. He offers humans his paw for taking him out for a walk and loves affection and massages. He loves to spend time in the dog parks, where he often loses himself in the thick bushes and in between little strolls, he likes to sniff the same bush for a long time, and then lounge around in the grass.
Titan is looking for a home with an outdoor space, also in a cooler climate if possible, as he has very thick fur and would surely also enjoy spending fresh evenings outdoors. Titan is calm and balanced around other dogs normally, just that he gets scared off when many small dogs are surrounding him and loudly barking at him, so if he would live with other dogs, the other dogs should really be kind with him, he is in his retirement years. We pass lots of other dogs on the walks, big and small, and he just watches them go by and minds his own business.
He loves affection, but at first it was like he didn’t know what it was. Now he will sit and just enjoy being stroked and loved. He is just the most amazing and beautiful boy.
